	My approach to event photography (weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs) is unobtrusive, flexible and responsive to each particular event; it delivers images that capture the spirit and flavor of a celebration. While I do take formal and posed photographs, my emphasis is on candid or "photo-journalistic" images which capture spontaneous moments and expressions. This approach frees everyone involved, including the guests, to enjoy themselves and to celebrate, without feeling that they are working for the photographer. It also enables me to create photographs that are a unique record of the event, rather than the more typical, posed photographs that look the same from one event to another. The pricing structure I use differs from that of more traditional wedding photographers. While meeting with prospective clients, I determine precisely what coverage they need, based on their interests and priorities. Questions discussed at this time include whether I will shoot black and white in addition to color film, whether formal pictures will be taken before or after the ceremony (if at all), and many other important details. My fee for coverage of the event is tailored to the particular arrangements we make during that meeting. This fee includes a complete set of proof prints which my clients keep. After receiving the proofs, and at their convenience, my clients create their own package by selecting anything from a few reprints or enlargements to a set of beautifully crafted albums. I offer an extensive choice of sizes and types of albums and work closely with my clients to assist them in their selection of images and in the production of their books.
